Overnight Oats

If you’re craving something cozy but still fresh and fruity, these strawberry, blackberry, and apple overnight oats are the perfect balance. Sweet berries bring a bright, juicy flavor while fresh apples add a crisp bite that keeps every spoonful interesting. It’s the kind of breakfast that feels both nourishing and extra satisfying. These oats are layered with flavor, texture, and just the right touch of sweetness.

Serving size: Two Jars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla strawberry powder
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp vanilla oat butter (divided)
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 6 strawberries (diced small)
  • 3 oz blackberries
  • 1 apple (diced small)

Directions

  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix all ingredients, except the vanilla oat butter.
  2. Add 1 tbsp vanilla oat butter to the bottom of both jars for a layered look.
  3. Fill the jars roughly halfway with oat mixture.
  4. Add 1 tbsp vanilla oat butter to each jar, do not stir.
  5. Fill jars with remaining oat mixture.
  6. Let the oats sit in the refrigerator overnight, or up to three days before eating.
  7. When ready to serve, top with walnuts and almonds or other optional toppings of choice.

Helpful Tips

  • Feel free to customize the berries depending on what you have in your kitchen. Extra blackberries, raspberries or blueberries all work beautifully in this recipe.
  • Flax meal can be used in place of chia seeds for a thicker texture and a light nutty flavor.
  • Vanilla protein powder is a great substitution for strawberry protein powder.
  • To make these oats dairy free, omit the yogurt or use Silk yogurt instead.
  • If omitting yogurt, I like to add a mashed banana to maintain a creamy texture.
  • I prefer rolled oats, but quick oats may be used as well for a softer consistency. Avoid using steel-cut oats, they will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
  • Vanilla oat spread pairs well with the berries and apple, however, a spoonful of almond butter enhances both the flavor and the texture of the oats.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Perfect mix of cozy and fresh. Juicy strawberries and blackberries paired with crisp apples give you the best of both worlds.
  • Naturally sweet and flavorful. The fruit adds all the sweetness you need.
  • Keeps you full for hours. A balanced mix of fiber, protein, and healthy fats makes this a nourishing breakfast.
  • Easy to make ahead. Prep it the night before and wake up to a breakfast ready to eat.
  • Simple and customizable. You can easily adjust the berries depending on what you have on hand.
