The banana adds a natural sweetness and creaminess, while the berries bring a rich, vibrant flavor to every bite. For a cozy and indulgent feeling breakfast made with wholesome ingredients keeping you satisfied for hours, these oats will not disappoint.

Serving Size: Two Jars
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
3 tbsp chia seeds
4 tbsp almond butter (or Vanilla oat butter spread)
¼ cup yogurt
1 cup almond milk
1 banana
⅓ cup blueberries
½ container of blackberries (diced small)
Directions
In a medium sized mixing bowl, mash the banana, then mix all remaining ingredients except the almond butter.
Add 1 tbsp almond butter to the bottom of each jar. Try to spread it evenly on the bottom of the jar.
Fill the jars roughly halfway with oat mixture.
Add another 1 tbsp almond butter as a layer on the oat mixture, Do not stir.
Fill jars with remaining oat mixture.
Let the oats sit in the refrigerator overnight, or up to three days before eating.
When ready to serve, top with walnuts and almonds or other optional toppings of choice.
Helpful Tips
To maintain a creamy texture, use a ripe banana.
If blackberries aren't available, double up on blueberries or mix in another fruit you love for your own twist.
My choice of yogurt is the Too Good blended vanilla flavor. For dairy free option you can use Silk yogurt.
If you want to omit the yogurt completely, I recommend adding an additional mashed banana to maintain a creamy texture.
I prefer rolled oats, but quick oats may be used as well for a softer consistency. Avoid using steel-cut oats, they will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
