Overnight Oats
Hello! If you enjoy a sweet and slightly tangy fruit combination, these strawberry banana orange oats are perfect for you. The sweetness of the banana blends perfectly with the juicy strawberries and fresh citrus giving a sunshine feel to start the day.

Serving Size: 2 jars
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop strawberry protein powder
1 banana
1/4 cup yogurt
4 strawberries (diced very small)
2 small oranges (diced very small)
4 tbsp almond butter or oat spread, divided
Directions
Mash the banana in a medium size mixing bowl.
Add diced strawberries and oranges.
Add all remaining ingredients except almond butter and mix well.
Add 1 tbsp to the bottom of both jars.
Pour the oat mixture in both jars about half way.
Add 1 tbsp almond butter to each jar.
Add remaining oat mixture to each jar.
Let oats sit in the refrigerator overnight or up to 3 days before eating.
When ready to serve top with almonds and walnuts or other desired toppings.
Helpful Tips
I love the extra strawberry flavor, but vanilla protein powder would work just as well.
To make these oats dairy free, omit the yogurt or use Silk yogurt instead. If omitting the yogurt, I recommend adding an additional banana to maintain a creamy texture.
A crunchy almond butter adds a subtle crunch and nutty depth. Vanilla oat spread would work just as well.
A spoonful of almond butter enhances both the flavor and the texture of the oats, while adding healthy fats and a boost of plant-based protein. Oat butter is great for texture and balance, and it adds some protein and healthy fats, but less than nut butters.
I prefer rolled oats, but quick oats may be used as well for a softer consistency. Avoid using steel-cut oats, they will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
