Bright, fresh, and just a little unexpected, these cherry orange overnight oats are the kind of breakfast that makes you look forward to waking up. Sweet cherries bring a bold, juicy sweetness while fresh orange adds a citrusy pop that keeps everything tasting light and balanced. As the oats soak overnight, all those flavors meld together into a creamy, refreshing combination that feels both comforting and vibrant. It’s simple to prep, but the end result tastes like something much more special.

Serving size: Two Jars
Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats
1 scoop strawberry protein powder
3 tbsp chia seeds
¼ cup yogurt
1 cup almond milk
⅓ cup cherries (pitted and diced small)
2 Mandarin oranges (diced small)
4 tbsp vanilla oat spread (optional)
Directions
In a medium sized mixing bowl, add all ingredients, stir until well combined.
If using vanilla oat spread, create a layered look by adding 1 tbsp to the bottom and middle of each jar.
If not using the vanilla spread, simply divide the oat mixture evenly between two jars.
Let the oats sit in the refrigerator overnight, or up to three days before eating.
When ready to serve, top with granola, pecans, walnuts or fresh fruit.

Helpful Tips
Customize the fruit. Depending on what you have in your kitchen, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries or blueberries all work beautifully in this recipe.
Don't have chia seeds? Flax seeds or flax meal can be used for a stronger nutty flavor.
To make these oats dairy free, omit the yogurt or use Silk yogurt instead. If omitting yogurt, I like to add a mashed banana to maintain a creamy texture.
What type of oats are best? I prefer rolled oats, but quick oats may be used as well for a softer consistency. Avoid using steel-cut oats, they will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
To create a layered look, consider adding 1 tbsp of vanilla oat spread to the bottom and middle of each jar.
