Helpful Tips

  • Use ripe fruit. The sweeter your mango and peach are, the more flavorful your overnight oats will be. Soft, fragrant fruit works best.
  • Dice the fruit into small pieces. Small, even pieces mix throughout the oats and give you a little fruit in every bite.
  • Stir well before refrigerating. Make sure the protein powder and chia seeds are fully mixed in so the oats set evenly without any clumps.
  • Adjust the consistency. If your oats are thicker than you like after chilling overnight, stir in a splash of milk before serving.
  • Meal prep friendly. Store the oats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Dairy free option.  Omit the yogurt or use Silk yogurt instead. If omitting yogurt, I would add an additional mashed banana to maintain a creamy texture.
  • Use rolled oats. Quick oats may be used, for a softer consistency.
  • Avoid using steel-cut oats. They will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
