Helpful Tips
Customize the fruit. Feel free to swap the fruit depending on what you have in your kitchen. Plums instead of peaches, strawberries instead of blueberries, apples instead of pears, the combinations are endless!
Don't have flax meal? Chia seeds can be used in place of flax meal for a thinner texture and a less of a nutty flavor.
Dairy free option: Omit the yogurt or use Silk yogurt instead. If omitting yogurt, I like to add a mashed banana to maintain a creamy texture.
What type of oats are best? I prefer rolled oats, but quick oats may be used as well for a softer consistency. Avoid using steel-cut oats, they will remain firm and chewy without cooking.
